Thermostats are the primary interface between an air conditioning system and the home owner. Think of them as the brains of your heating and cooling system. There are 3 types of thermostats available including:

Smart Thermostats and Wi-Fi Enabled Thermostats – both of these thermostats often feature a rich vibrant display. Both of these thermostats also allow you to monitor and adjust temperature remotely from a smart phone or connected device. A smart thermostat provides information on energy use. A Wi-Fi thermostat has a sensor to control your heating and cooling on its own.

Programmable Thermostat – a programmable thermostat typically features a digital backlit screen. Instead of having to manually change settings multiple times a day, a homeowner or property owner can schedule the desired daily or weekly temperatures once.

Manual Thermostat – with a manual thermostat, the temperature is changed manually using a dial or slider. The temperature you set is the temperature your home will stay until you make an adjustment by hand.
